 Becoming a student

The IPPD program provides an outstanding experiential learning opportunity for engineering and business students to work on real-world industry projects under the direction of faculty and sponsor company mentors. Students will design, build and test a real product, while learning teamwork skills and how to complete projects on time and within budget.

Commitment:

• 3 credits fall (Tuesday periods 8 to 10)

• 3 credits spring (Tuesday periods 8 to 10)

• Approximately 10 to 15 hours/week including class time.

What does IPPD offer?

IPPD looks for top students in their graduating year to participate in a two-semester course that teaches students from various engingeering and business disciplines how to design products and processes. This course provides students with direct access to companies that may be looking to hire in the future.
